Chateau Coustolle 2009 --A Wine of this Weekend. Chateau Coustolle , our wine,a family business since 1940. One of the flagships of the Canon Fronsac appellation ( We will talking about the Wine Region of Bordeaux in detail in the coming days.)
The wine in the dress of a red ruby hue . Hight alcoholic on the nose immediately but getting soft after around 30mins aeration.Delivery of the ripe fruits ,dark cherry- like from 80% Merlot Blended with. ( 18% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Malbec).Touch with fruity aromas enrich often spice coming out. I quite like the slight smoked come through and the mocha tones.Flenshy and racy wine ,modest tannins, balanced on the mid-palate . ABV(14%), twist top.But some thing developing on the palate...
" If you want to go fast , go alone; if you want to go far ,go together." Someone told me long time ago. The same ,you will find a lot of surprises when enjoy a bottle with the confidant.
Cheers!
